WISE: Women in Information Sciences & Engineering
The NCTA Women in Information Science and Engineering (WISE) program provides opportunities for women and men in all aspects of the knowledge workforce to pursue career and personal goals. The WISE program continually evolves, as NCTA works closely with a leadership steering committee of NCTA member company representatives in both the Triangle and Charlotte areas to:
- EDUCATE - Produce informative and educational forums that are of interest to a diverse group of knowledge workers;
- ENGAGE - Provide unique networking and engagement opportunities for women and men across the state of North Carolina; and
- EMPOWER - Promote women in technology and encourage young women to pursue technology careers.
There are two chapters of the NCTA WISE program – Triangle WISE and Charlotte WISE –offering quarterly events, networking, and outreach opportunities for knowledge workers across North Carolina.
